Public Transit Info From Within Manhattan

  • The M4 bus runs from Broadway and West 110th Street to 5th Avenue and East 84th Street.
  • The M66 bus travels from Linclon Center at Broadway and West 64th Street to Madison Avenue and 65th Street. There, transfer to the M1 bus which takes you to Madison Avenue and East 83rd Street.
  • The M-104 bus travels from West 42nd Street and Broadway to 5th Avenue and East 42nd Street. Transfer there to the M-1 bus and take this to Madison Avenue and East 83rd Street.
  • The M-4 bus travels from West 32nd Street and 7th Avenue to Madison Avenue and East 83rd Street.
  • The M-102 bus travels from East 42nd and Thir Avenue to Third Avenue and East 82nd Street.
  • The M-23 bus travels from West 24th Street and 8th Avenue to East 23rd Street and Park Avenue. Transfer there to the M-2 bus and take this to 79th Street and Madison Avenue; or transfer at East 23rd Street and Park Avenue to the M-1 bus which hits a few less potholes, and takes you to Madison Avenue and East 83rd Street.
  • Take the M-21 bus from Avenue of the Americas and Houston Street to East Houston Street and Lafayette Street. Transfer there to the M-1 bus and take this to Madison Avenue and 83rd Street.
  • Take the M-1bus from Broad Street and South Street to Madison Avenue and East 83rd Street.
  • Take the M-1 bus from Wall Street and William Street to Madison Avenue and East 83rd Street.
  • Take the M-2 bus from East 23rd Street and Park Avenue South to 79th Street and Madison Avenue.
  • Take the M-103 bus from the World Trade Center, Park Row, and Beacon Street to East 82nd Street and Third Avenue. For bus info. call 718-330-1234.
  • Take the N train from West 34th Street and Herald Square Station to Lexington Avenue Station. Transfer there to the 5 or 6 train and take either of them to East 86th Street and Lexington Avenue. I happen to think the 6 train is a little more fun, but that's just me.
  • Take the 4 train from Grand Central Station and 42nd Street to East 86th Street and Lexington Avenue. Take the E train from West 23rd Street and 8th Avenue to Lexington Avenue, transfer to the 6 train and take this to 86th Street and Lexington Avenue.
  • Take the 1 train from West Houston and Varick Street to Times Square. Transfer there to the Grand Central Station line. At Grand Central Station, take the 5 train north to 86th Street and Lexington Avenue.
  • Take the 4 train from Broad Street and South Street to East 86th Street and Lexington Avenue.
  • Take the 5 train from Wall Street and William Street to East 86th Street and Lexington Avenue.
  • Take the 4 train from the World Trade Center to East 86th Street and Lexington Avenue.
  • Take the 6 train from East 23rd Street and Park Avenue South to East 86th Street and Leington Avenue.
